Ben Bourke
Principal Lawyer
As the Principal of Windsor Law, Ben takes an outcomes-focused approach to legal practice. With experience across boutique and mid-tier firms, he founded the practice on a simple philosophy: the client engaged a lawyer for a result, and that result should be pursued as directly and efficiently as possible. Ben believes the law, particularly in compensation and insurance matters, is a commercial tool — one that should be applied strategically to achieve practical outcomes without unnecessary cost or delay.
Ben leads a lean, high-output practice that combines well-built systems and a skilled support team with hands-on lawyer-led strategy on every matter. Key decisions and case direction always sit with the lawyer, giving clients clear accountability and confidence in who is steering their matter. His approach is direct and transparent: he assesses matters early, identifies the pressure points, and provides candid advice on viability. If a case has merit, the team pushes hard and moves fast. If it doesn’t, he’ll say so upfront — because clear early advice, in his view, will always serve a client better than false hope.
A strong emphasis is placed on securing clean, final outcomes that give clients independence and certainty — particularly in compensation matters where the goal is to move clients beyond reliance on insurers, ongoing disputes, or uncertain processes. Windsor Law prides itself on being one of the most responsive firms in the country, with turnaround times and follow-up that are consistently well above industry standard. The firm’s commitment is straightforward: resolve matters quickly, maximise outcomes where justified, and never waste time or money where it isn’t.

Alan Myburgh
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer of Windsor Law, Alan is responsible for the firm’s growth and the systems, people, and processes that support it. His focus is simple: ensure every client receives a high-quality, efficient, and results-driven experience from start to finish.
With a background in business consulting and building service-based businesses, Alan brings extensive experience in managing large outsourced teams and implementing technology to improve performance and scalability. He works behind the scenes to design and refine the way the firm operates — from how matters are progressed, to how clients are communicated with, to how the team is trained and supported.
Alan believes that strong legal outcomes are driven not only by legal strategy, but by the quality of the systems and people delivering it. By combining well-structured processes, carefully selected technology, and a highly trained support team, his goal is to remove friction, reduce delays, and ensure clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their matter.
Everything is built with one outcome in mind — achieving the best possible result for the client, as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Outside of work, Alan enjoys training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and spending time outdoors with his dog, Barkley — usually somewhere near the beach in the sunshine.
